The conference, which attracts around 10,000 experts from around the world and covers a wide range of topics ranging from prevention to diagnosis and epidemiology, pathogenesis and treatment of infectious diseases. With particular attention to emerging infections, including influenza, antibiotic resistance and infection control. Like every year, ECCMID represents the perfect setting for the presentation of new studies and results for our clients, performed over the last year. On this occasion, we had a poster presentation by our French client, Prof. Laurent Andreoletti: “RT-PCR microarray detection of respiratory viral pathogens in acute exacerbations of COPD in France”, presented by Dr. Fanny Renoise and performed with CLART® PneumoVir. This year, GENOMICA, also took advantage of the platform offered by the conference to present its recently launched CLART® SeptiBac+ for the detection of Gram + bacteria and fungi in patients with sepsis. The kit, available from May 1 this year, was formally presented during the conference to multiple distributors and customers present there.
